Bio:Sandra Oh secured leading parts in her native Canada, but found that for a woman of Korean heritage, such roles were harder to come by outside of that nation's insular independent film world, and instead advanced her US career with a series of scene-stealing supporting roles in film and television. You may recognize her from a number of shows or films including Sideways, The Princess Diaries, Arli$$ and Six Feet Under. She however really came into light when she landed the role at Grey's Anatomy. The actress remained highly visible with her role as the emotionally-bottled and manipulative physician Cristina Yang on the ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" (2005- ) who strikes up a complicated interracial romance with a cocky surgeon (Isaiah Washington) - who has since left the show.
